DTBG VLOG #9: NEW MUSIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Recently, via Facebook video, I announced I would embark on producing an “Instrumental Series”. A therapeutic plunge that would dig deep & tell my story. My upbringing is littered with homelessness, my parent’s drug & alcohol abuse, domestic violence, and many types of criminal activity no child should ever witness regularly. Each instrumental (and partnering visual) would delve into the many situations I was forced to encounter growing up. My 1st installment of this series, “Mami Miss You”, coerces me to remember the loss of my mother. I seldom tell the story of me holding her hand, sitting at her deathbed, as she took her last breath. One day, in my home studio, I was enveloped with thoughts of missing her and produced this piece of music. I hope she likes it.
